What is the difference between oil and tincture?
CBD oil is olive oil that has been infused with full spectrum cannabis plant material. Oil may be used sublingually, for topical application and for cooking among other uses.
CBD tincture is 75% alcohol that has been infused with full spectrum cannabis plant material. Tincture is made to dissolve in consumable liquid, such as water, tea, coffee, soda, etc.
** DO NOT drink or consume tincture in any form other than with another liquid.**
What are terpenes?
At Cornwall Cannabis, we grow cultivars that, in addition to having high levels of CBD, are also rich in terpenes. Terpenes are essential oils found in plants. There are around 200 terpenes in cannabis. They are what give cannabis its distinct aroma and flavor. Terpenes have beneficial effects and work synergistically with other cannabinoids – this relationship is called the entourage effect.
Can I give CBD to my pets?
Yes. Pets can benefit from CBD for many of the same conditions as humans: pain, seizures, inflammation, and anxiety. CBD is safe to use for pets but their dosage will likely be much smaller than yours. Dogs, for example, have a higher concentration of cannabinoid receptors in their brain. However, limited doses of CBD, is beneficial for animals. We recommend you speak with a veterinarian (holistic veterinarian) before you start giving your pet CBD products.
Is CBD addictive in any way?
No, CBD is not known to be an addictive drug. In fact, CBD has shown strong potential to be a useful tool to help people break addictions to harmful substances.
Will taking CBD make you fail a drug test?
There is no significant amount of THC found in CBD products, and thus will not make you fail a drug test.
